You’re invited to join our demonstration race to experience RC car racing with FPV goggles and cameras.

RC cars and FPV kits are provided. You only need to bring your LiPo batteries (3s or 6s).

Schedule

  • 1pm – 3pm: Practice session
  • 3pm – 5pm: Race
  • We utilize a track with a total distance of approximately 500m with 150m straight lines.
  • You are encouraged to bring enough LiPo batteries. You should bring more than one.
  • You are also encouraged to bring your own RC car to practice driving on the track during practice session.

One-Lap Race Format

On-road racing with no qualifying but in a single row with two cars

Practice Session

There's a 2-hour practice session before the race. Each racer is given 10 minutes to practice. The earlier you arrive, the earlier you can practice.

Direct Elimination Rounds

Each race has only two cars lined-up side-by-side racing for one lap. Winning car advances to the next round. You will be eliminated if you hit a cone during a race.

Quarter/Semi-Finals

Racers who won the previous rounds compete in this round. Winners advance to the final race.

Final Races

The final two drivers shall compete in a nerve-wrecking final race to be champion.

Terms & Conditions

  • There is no entry fee to join. 
  • Each participant must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Each participant can join only one class.
  • Our RC car FPV kit includes,
    • RunCam FPV camera
    • RushFPV Max Solo 2.5W 5.8Ghz video transmitter with antenna
    • 5.8GHz analog FPV goggles with antenna –
    • HDZero (with analog expansion module), Fat Shark and Eachine EV800D
    • JST LiPo balance lead connector
  • Participants must follow the instructions of race director at all times.
  • Participants must only race using our RC cars. But you may use your own car during practice session.
  • Participants must use FPV goggles when racing so that you can view the car at a far distance. Even though shared FPV goggles are provided, you are encouraged to use your own FPV goggles.
  • Participant must turn off their video transmitter (or switch to pit mode) when not racing.
  • Each RC car must only race with 3s (open class) or 6s (elite class) LiPo batteries.
  • Participants must use your own battery charger. Charging outlets are not provided.
  • The location address shall be sent to you once your registration is confirmed.
  • Participants are responsible for their own transportation to/from the location.
  • Participants are responsible for their own equipment.
  • Participants are required to be marshalls when not racing.
  • Participants shall be required to sign an indemnity and waiver form before participating in this race.  
  • Cash prizes shall be paid via online bank transfer. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to individuals who do not abide to our rules and regulations.
  • We reserve the right to cancel the race due to weather condition, or any conditions that are beyond our control.
